Raised in Livermore California, I grew up playing a lot of baseball, hiking the hills, designing things, listening to music, and getting into general mischief. I attended CSU Chico directly after high school, earning a BA in Art Studio (Computer Art emphasis), and minoring in Anthropology. During my undergraduate studies I became passionate about rock climbing, audio production, percussion, and new ways to create art. Most importantly, I learned how to learn.
I attended graduate school at Chico to pursue a single subject teaching credential in Art, but eventually realized that I didn't possess the desire for teaching within public high school environments. Before arriving at this conclusion, I took a six month hiatus in the US Virgin Islands to enhance my palette for cultural awareness and caribbean scenery. In 2010, I gained valuable business/administration experience co-establishing and operating a PV solar panel cleaning company (Shine Up Solar) in the Sacramento area.
In September of 2011, I moved to San Francisco to pursue an education in audio engineering and experience the city life. I had an amazing opportunity to intern and serve as an apprentice for FreqLab Recording at Hyde Street Studios. Here I earned my Bachelor's Equivalent Audio Engineering Certificate from The Recording Connection Audio Institute, building a deeper understanding of the music production process.
Somewhere between and during these life-altering developments, I learned to cook and use my kitchen skills to pay the bills. Today I am blessed to work as a product specialist for the industry leader in web development at wix.com. When not at work, I continue the endless pursuit of evolving my artistic ability.
Many more good things to come! Stay tuned for additions to my artwork, photography, and website design pages.
